Mr. Grimes established his practice in Georgetown, Texas in 1982.  Since that time he has handled thousands of cases covering a broad range of subjects.  Since the early 90s, however, Mr. Grimes has devoted the majority of his time to practice in family law.  He has tried thousands of cases, including custody and property disputes, in counties throughout central Texas.  Mr. Grimes has earned a reputation as an aggressive advocate for his clients.
Mr. Grimes is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Williamson County Bar Association (Board of Directors, 1993-1994), and a member of the State Bar of Texas Family Law Section. 
Mr. Grimes graduated from the University of Texas with an undergraduate degree in 1977 and received his law degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 1981.  Mr. Grimes’ interests outside of law include prior service on the Board of Directors for the Lower Colorado River Authority (1987-1993) and a position on the Rural Capital Area Private Industry Counsel (1991-1992).
